The Metropolitan Police London is set to participate in the Uganda Health & Business Expo UK 2026

The Uganda Health & Business Expo UK 2026 has announced the participation of two distinguished officers from the Metropolitan Police Service as featured delegates and speakers at next year's highly anticipated event.

The Office of the Head of Protocol confirmed that Sergeant David Mukasa and Detective Constable Charlene Mukasa will join the prestigious gathering to share their expertise in policing, leadership, and public service careers in the United Kingdom.

Sergeant David Mukasa, who has extensive experience in community engagement, leadership, and public service, will provide insights into opportunities within the UK's public service sector and discuss career pathways in policing. His presentation is expected to inspire young people and professionals interested in serving their communities through law enforcement and public service.

Detective Constable Charlene Mukasa will speak on career pathways into policing and public service, with a special focus on guiding students, young professionals, and members of the Ugandan diaspora seeking to build careers within the UK's law enforcement agencies.

The Uganda Health & Business Expo UK 2026 is scheduled to take place from 31 July to 2 August 2026 and will bring together leaders, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and community champions from across the United Kingdom, Uganda, and other parts of the world.

The first two days of the expo will be held at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London SW1H 9JJ, while the final day will feature a Health & Community Run at the New River Sports Centre, White Hart Lane, Wood Green, London N22 5QW.

This event aims to strengthen partnerships between Uganda and the United Kingdom by creating opportunities for networking, investment, healthcare collaboration, and professional development.

Speaking ahead of the event, organisers described the participation of the Metropolitan Police officers as a significant addition to the programme, highlighting the importance of mentorship and showcasing opportunities available to young people and professionals aspiring to work in public service.
